7. PEÑA FLAMENCA

This city square was set up differently in the past. The current school was the convent of “La Victoria” in the 16th century, which doesn’t exist anymore. Remains of the convent can be found on Espinosa Street and at the current location of the “Peña flamenca”.

 

The convent of “La Victoria” was entrusted to teach philosophy and Latin and, in the 17th century, also arts.
